We developed Meggaboost, which is hydrophobic, displacing the moisture and dispersing the polar charge on carbon particles. |

After coupling on an insulation meter we can see what’s happening inside the equipment. Unlike other cleaning fluids Meggaboost first dissolves oil and grease, removes the moisture and then, as a result of the patented Ayrodev reaction, it provides a negative pulse of energy. The positive carbons are first neutralized, then negatively charged, so they become mutually repellent. They are then meggawashed off. |

You can actually see the Meggaboost working as the insulation values start to climb. The treatment is continued until a constant and acceptable reading is obtained. You can see what a difference that makes to the old methods where the dirt and grease became locked in if it didn't readily come away. |

Only now that we know the windings are clean do we apply the Salvameg, an air drying varnish with excellent anti-tracking properties, high surface and high moisture resistance. This is Ayrodev Process One. It gets to places no conventional treatment has reached before and it works fast and effectively. A typical result is 70% of the rated I.R level restored in only one day. And it’s an in-situ operation designed to get you out of trouble fast. We first tried it in the engine room of a flooded tanker. After pumping and washing with fresh water, Ayrodev Process One had the essential motors back in service and steam was raised in eight days. Despite its surprising performance, there are limits to what Process One can achieve. But at least you will be able to tell how serious the job is going to be within a matter of a few hours.
