Reads Electric are Third party accredited to this standard by SAI Global. This International Standard promotes the adoption of a process approach when developing, implementing and improving the effectiveness of a quality management system, to enhance customer satisfaction by meeting customer requirements.

Reads Electric are a SAI Global Registered Workshop for the repair and overhaul of hazardous are equipment. (Licence Number SMK 02151)

This Standard covers Group I and Group II electrical equipment for use in Class I areas and also includes Class II equipment to be used in the presence of combustible dusts

The objective of this Standard is to provide users and relevant regulatory authorities concerned with the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment in hazardous areas with guidance to ensure safety and compliance with the relevant existing Standards.

The objective of this Standard is to provide machine repair workshops with minimum standards and procedural guidance for the examination, rewinding and overhaul of rotating electrical machines. As a minimum all our repairs comply to this standard.

The Reads Electric Quality Manual lists our procedures, confirms our commitment to quality improvement through setting and reviewing quality objectives and provides an overview of the company's organisation. It also stipulates how we conform to the regulatory requirements of the standard.
